Bonjour Tout le Monde French Workbook 1

Workbook 1 is the workbook that all children from third to sixth class will use in September 2025 for the first year of Primary MFL.

In succeeding years, they will advance upwards to Workbook 4, but in Year 1 of the phased introduction, all will be working at Workbook 1 level.

This workbook contains 42 lessons across 6 Units of work.

Workbook 1 accompanies the Primary Languages Network Platform, to which access will open on July 1, 2025, once the summer in-service programme opens.

The PLN platform contains all the videos, schemes of work, lesson plans, language organisers, task sheets, assessments, etc., and of course Emilie, our virtual French language specialist, who will be with you and your students through the wonder that is the Interactive Whiteboard.

The NEW MFL curriculum requires that teachers teach a modern foreign language for one hour per week.
